My name is Roelien and I’m currently living in a gorgeous city – Cape Town. Every morning I wake up seeing one of the 7 wonders of nature gazing through my window, somehow covered in its blanket of mist – Table Mountain. I am proudly Namibian and will always have a golden heart for Namibia. For those South Africans who view Namibia as just a desert, well it’s more than that! However, it is what occupies this seemingly endless amount space that makes it special. Namibia is filled with rugged, beautiful landscapes of every kind creating an otherworldly environment from which an amazing wealth of wildlife has adapted and thrived. It’s perfect for nature lovers just like me.  It’s adventure, inspired and you’ll fall in love on first sight!

I am currently studying my B-Tech Degree to become a Public Relations Practitioner at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT). I have a passion for the PR World as it’s always a challenge and a journey to learn more!  These days I find myself working at South Africa’s PRISM Award winning PR consultancy, Greater Than!! I work with an amazing, inspiring team and experience the best of the best!

I am a fun, outgoing and social person. I don’t really have a certain hobby, but I do find myself stuck in front of a Sudoku puzzle (hard) :). I also read interesting stories, go to the gym and having absolute fun with my friends. However, when it comes to my studies and work it becomes first priority which makes me an A-student and hardworking. This blog started off as this year’s 4th year assignment, but hopefully will grown into a place and space where I can speak up about everything and anything on my mind. Have a good read!

  3. Identified your article quite interesting in fact. I actually loved reading it therefore you make fairly some very good details. I will bookmark this web page to the upcoming! Relly good article.

  4. You need to participate in a contest for one of the best blogs on the web. I’ll recommend this web site!

  5. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune “Social” is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

  6. Enjoyed examining this, very good stuff, appreciate it. “Nothing happens to any thing which that thing is not made by nature to bear.” by Marcus Aurelius Antoninus.

Maybe there is a issue with the Style sheet here? I can’t read anything here without highlighting it with the mouse, because it’s all black. I’m using Firefox if it helps.

  8. I don’t even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was good. I don’t know who you are but definitely you are going to a famous blogger if you are not already 😉 Cheers!

  9. I just bookmarked » Blog Archive » DSC00247 on Digg, hope this helps get you more visits. I’m all over this using this type of write-up, I truly believe this site requires more consideration. I’ll likely be returning again to see a great deal more, thanks for the blog post it is superb

  10. You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this matter to be really something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!

  11. I just want to say I am just all new to blogging and definitely loved this web page. Probably I’m going to bookmark your site . You amazingly have perfect posts. Thanks a lot for sharing with us your web site.

  12. Between me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I’ve settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.

  13. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  14. Hi. Just wanted to let you know that this website didn’t load properly on Samsung galaxy SIII default browser.

  16. We love our Kindle Fire, but as many people have said it has some drawbacks when compared to the iPad, especially on size and power. But I’m impressed with the new specs of the Kindle Fire 2 with the 10inch screen. Some of the new specs are at kindlemad.com and I think they will be opening up pre-orders soon.
